This was my first time trying Roots Natural Kitchen. The staff recommended El Jefe and it did not disappoint! It was a grain bowl with some kick (lime and tobasco). The atmosphere was nice too.
Great food and even more amazing staff! So glad this location has opened. Seating area is clean and spacious. They have a large table great for big groups or even making new friends! Come and eat the rainbow!
Good place. Good food. Ample portions on the grain bowl. Had The Southern, was good. Filling. I appreciate them posting nutritional information on their website though they don't have enough locations to be legally obligated to. I track my macros and this is appreciated.
What a tasty little gem this turned out to be! Tasty and fresh, I tried the Tamari by their suggestion and it was very good! One small problem: the drink machine is loud, and hard to hear over. Hope there’s a quick solution to that.
Second visit and my Tango Bowl was just as tasty as the first time around. I opted for the beef this time and it is delicious. Parking was super quick and I loved how personable the staff were. We were greeted and spoken to when we left. Love this location !
Really good healthy lunch spot. Slightly more expensive than Chipotle but worth it. Highly recommend!
My first time but definitely won’t be my last. Jesse was the manager on duty who made my bowl and it was great. Highly recommend Roots! Service was amazing and the dining area was clean and spacious! 10/10 great addition to the Midlo area as a healthy option to enjoy a meal.
Traveling through town and stopped here for lunch based on food options and reviews. Great choice! Got the Balboa with lemon tahini dressing. Good flavor, fresh food. Quick service. Reminds me of a similar concept I've been to in the D.C. area that I enjoy. I see this place has multiple locations which is good to know for when I travel.
The food here is so good. we had dinner here after a long day, service was fast and the line was easy to maneuver. I chose the El Jefe. that's my favorite. I make it vegan by replacing the chicken for chickpeas, and I add sweet potatoes. when I tell you this is delicious... I highly recommend making your own bowl or edit the signature meals to your liking. they don't disappoint. The dining area is great too, a beautifully decorated modern style decor.
What a great healthy option to have in this area. We had the El Jefe and Southern bowl and wow we were blown away! So much flavor and the portion size was massive. Southern bowl was out of this world the tofu was unlike any other I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
